They call me 'chimere' but I am no figment of the imagination.
I have no
mother, no father. The streets of downtown Port-au-Prince are
my home. I've
never been to school and I have no profession. But I do have a
vocation; I
burn tires in the streets and can block all activity in the capital
for days
on end. I'm not a terrorist. I'm paid for my work. I'm not a marginal
either
because my clients are important and respected politicians.
